In what is a sign of the times, coffee and book-loving patrons of the Milford Library (CT) proposed adding the brew to their library.
The Connecticut Post reported that “Several patrons asked for a coffee bar, pointing out that providing the opportunity to curl up with a cup of coffee and a good book has become a key to the success of chain bookstores.” Library Director Jean Tsang was not in favor of the idea, primarily due to a desire to not compete with local establishments serving coffee.
