User Interfaces for Physical Spaces
December 12, 2005 inPittsburgh, PA
In this workshop, we’ll see the work that MAYA Design did to redesign the physical and virtual space of Pittsburgh’s Carnegie Libraries.
Thanks in large part to the new Seattle Public Library, people are paying more and more attention to the library experience, and how the design of the space contributes to that. By working with the Carnegie Library to understand how digital, physical, and human aspects of the library converge, MAYA developed a physical and information architecture that gives the library a framework not only for a single renovated space, but also for system-wide organizational change and ongoing evolution.
Registration is $250.”
