    Tough Luck
    From the article it sounds like sour grapes in that she lost her job (which is understandable); however, I can see how a library should be restructured so that everyone is accountable and answerable to the director of the library.

    Well, “sour grapes” or no I do think that anyone is entitled to be told why their position is being terminated and why they are losing their job. I understand that maybe there is something not being reported , but to be given an answer of “We don’t have to tell you” seems pretty unsatisfactory if not just plain cowardly. Restructuring , I know from personal experience, is sometimes painful for those involved- this may well be such a case- other times it can be really energising . However where I have seen it put in place it was at the end of a planning and consultation process so that there was at least some knowledge in advance of where the organisation was heading
