“Just wanted to let you all know that WebJunction
is featuring a variety of material on alternative funding models for
libraries as part of their “Demonstrating Impact” series over the next
couple of weeks — and those of you who are interested in the subject
will certainly want to have a look. For those of you who may not be
familiar with WebJunction, it is an online community designed to provide
librarians and affiliated organizations access to the latest on
information technology and other key issues affecting our profession
—and it is operated by OCLC and four partner organizations with
funding provided by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
This month’s Demonstrating Impact” is designed to help libraries develop strategies to demonstrate
their value to their communities and their funders
