    Freakshow Libraries?
    Comments on the Maher article at Huff Post are quote interesting, even amusing. Here’s a favorite: “Actually, no drug test is necessary, because everyone already knows that those librarians are all on drugs for their mental problems. When I was in college, I worked part-time at the library. It was a total freakshow. There was the “person” who’d had two sex change operations (woman to man back to woman), the woman who made this weird sound all the time because she had some kind of a nervous thing/condition, the woman who wouldn’t shave her armpits, and the former professor who wasn’t allowed to teach because everybody thought he was a communist. So there. Need I say more?”

    Ah yes, because not shaving your armpits and being thought to be a communist are sure signs of mental problems. 🙂
