Vonnegut’s Son Will Fill In For His Father At Hometown Library

A long scheduled and anticipated visit by author Kurt Vonnegut on April 27th at the Marion County Library will go ahead as planned, with the author’s son, pediatrician and writer Mark Vonnegut stepping in for his father who died this past Wednesday.

Mayor Bart Peterson of Indianapolis had dedicated this year to the hometown hero and the library and the city will continue to celebrate the life and work of s great American novelist. Here’s the Marion County Library’s page in his honor and the Year of Vonnegut site.
