Vancouver library workers vote to accept offer

zamiel2 writes “Per this post on the CUPE 391 blog:

The votes are in. 71.4 % of the membership have said yes to the memorandum of agreement and a return to work. The Vancouver Public Library Board still must ratify the agreement tomorrow morning before it becomes official.

Assuming that the Library board agrees at their meeting on Saturday, October 20, workers will go back to their jobs on Monday. Hopefully libraries in Vancouver will be open again late next week.”
