Utah university libraries are brimming with old cookbooks

One from The Salt Lake Tribune on the coolness that can be found in cookbooks.

“Cookbooks are a different snapshot of history,” explains Judith Jarrow, program manager for the University of Utah’s Marriott Library, where more than 5,000 original cookbooks are stored. The books, part of the U.’s Western Americana Collection, include pamphlets and menus and are mostly from the 19th and 20th centuries.
