Pictures at the University of Iowa of their special collections being moved to higher floors because of the flooding.
A friend of a friend passed on the link to the pictures. They work at the University of Iowa and they had this note with the link: The flood made it into the basement of the Main Library. We sandbagged all day on Friday at the library as people inside worked to move all the books from the basement upstairs. From what I have heard no books were affected. That side of the river did lose power and were put on generators. All nonessential buildings are pretty much closed, so the only open buildings are administration buildings and the hospital.
