United Kingdom Libraries helping the blind

Herts 24: “Not only can they borrow talking books, but we can also pay for them to get a subscription to the Royal National Institute for the Blind’s talking book service, which has a huge range of books. And we can provide books in Braille.”

The library also has specialist computers which can enlarge the text in books or even read it out, so visually impaired people can use all the electronic resources, office programmes, library catalogue, internet and e-mail.”
