To Preserve the Liberation Struggle: A PALOP Historical Archives is Proposed

kmccook writes “Angolan minister of Culture, Boaventura Cardoso, on Tuesday, in Luanda, supported the idea of constructing a building to set up there a commom historical archives for the African Portuguese Speaking Countries Community (PALOP), so as to avoid the dispersal of documents and keep the collective memory of the national liberation struggles period of the five member states of PALOP.
Cardoso is of the opinion that it is only this way that it will be possible to preserve and show to future generations the pamphlets, communiqués, speeches, and school manuals on the liberated zones, as well as other documents about the liberation struggles processes.
The motto of the meeting on clandestine fight and proclamation of independence national independence:
