Then a Librarian, Now a Library Media Specialist

Remember the days when pupils had to walk to school uphill both ways? Back then, Clarisse Bushman was the librarian for a school that had a single dial-up Internet connection.

The setting was Stonewall Jackson High School in Northern Virginia and the timing just 12 years ago. Bushman has since moved on to Strasburg High School, added “media specialist” to her title and has the ability to access the Web whenever she needs to at her workplace. She was recently honored for her work, and NV Daily has the report.
