interesting
but potentially dangerous don’t you think? I suspect there will be legal issues down the pike with this.
Not consulting author
I think that the “not consulting author” is for the people that buy the book and make changes. I bet the publisher has an agreement with the authors that allow the books to be in this program where parts of the book can be removed or changed.
As an author of a textbook if you have been fully paid for the book why worry if someone only uses every other paragraph or chapter? Especially if your publisher worked an agreement out with you ahead of time.
