Technology alters library usage could’ve been run in most any paper in the country I bet, in this case it’s being seen in the Parkersburg News, in WV.
It says In recent years, more people have been finding their way to the Parkersburg & Wood County Public Library with the advent of Internet access as well as the availability of movies on videotape and DVD, books on tape, art prints and other multimedia items, said library director Brian E. Raitz.
“The biggest thing to affect the libraries has been the Internet,” Raitz said. “It has been good because it has opened the doors to so much more information and access … beyond what many libraries have been able to get for their patrons.”
