Suds vs. duds: Ex-Librarian Now Professional Beer Drinker

Lew Bryson makes a living doing something many wish they could do for free — drink beer. After completing his education, he worked in California as a librarian with the U.S. Army, but he continued to be intrigued by beer. Bryson visits bars and breweries and writes about beer for several publications, including Malt Advocate, a quarterly magazine, and Cond Nast Publications’ Portfolio, a biweekly publication.
