Strike at Utah library by employees

A Newspaper In Utah is reporting An employee strike kept the Kaysville City Library closed for business Wednesday. Simultaneously, residents are fighting to keep it open indefinitely.

A sign taped to the front door explained the staff’s motives: “Library closed due to decision made by your city council.”

The Kaysville City Council voted Tuesday to approve an agreement that will merge the city-run library with the Davis County library system. That vote spurred the strike.
