    As I have said before if you are not a donor to SMU they don’t care what you have to say. I can’t fathom why they should.

    Opposition to this kind of crap isn’t about whether they will listen or not; it’s about doing what you have to do for your own self-respect. Personally, I don’t see a Bush Jr. Presidential library as being a problem in and of itself; every prez gets one. I see the problem as this library being a sop to Bush hubris. It’s got to be the biggest, the most expensive, the most grandiose; and for all that it’s bound to contain the least amount of material that anyone will have access to.
