Sponsor Pulls Support for UCITA

David Dillard sent along a bunch of links (which I’ve pared down) to stories about the likely downing of UCITA, (Uniform Computer Information Transaction Act). UCITA was designed to be a model agreement for licensing software programs that states could pick up right into law. Last week, however, in a move that may kill UCITA, the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws announced that it would no longer push for adoption of the act in any state.
