Marlene writes “ “Somebody’s got to do somethingâ€?, explains one of the four Dickson County Library cardholders suing the county for breaking an agreement with the state that could lead to the books being taken from the county library.
There are two video clips associated with the story. Two of the women are interviewed and the camera pans the children books that are being stacked for the state to pick-up.
The attorney for the lawsuit claim that the mayor of Dickson County’s vote, to reinstate funding to the library, should have been counted. The county’s attorney disagrees and has a few weeks to respond to the lawsuit. The state is holding off from taking the state-owned books.”
