The Shy Librarian” is a quarterly print magazine, which focuses “promoting libraries, librarians, and books,” with many articles on library marketing, public relations and programming. It also features many reviews of new books for all ages, as well as reviews of professional books.

“This is a great opportunity to provide our members with library marketing and PR information they can use and at the same time provide exposure for this quality independent library-related journal,” said Jo Ann Pinder, PLA president. “We see this as just another way to provide added value for a PLA membership.”
