They cover Cindy Jackson, the comic arts @ Virginia Commonwealth University. “I love working with the items every day,” said Jackson, assistant archivist for the special collections department of James Branch Cabell Library. “It’s so interesting to see the evolution of comics. There’s a lot of history and social commentary here.”
Jackson catalogs the collection. Each time an item comes in, she adds it to the database. But because she has other job responsibilities, Jackson is not sure the job will ever be complete. The backlog stands at about 15,000. And more comic books are on the way.”
Let me fix that title
How about, “SHAZAM! How nerdy is a job with comics?” or “SHAZAM! Yeah, I’m never getting a girfriend now.”
