The Bensenville Public Library, the Alliance Library System, and the Mid-Illinois Talking Book Center are pleased to announce a series of online interactive book discussions which will take place on Saturday, September 11 in commemoration of September 11, 2001. People of all ages and nationalities are invited to participate in this exciting series of discussions to be held on the Internet. The general theme of the discussion of this set of books will be how people (and other creatures) manifest courage, especially in light of the events related to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

These will serve as a special Edition of the Meting of the Minds Online Book Discussion Group coordinated by the Mid-Illinois Talking Book Center. (Saturday, September 11, 2004 at the times noted below): In honor of the We the People Initiative of the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Libraries Remember Initiative spearheaded by the Bensenville (Illinois) Community Public Library District, we will be reading and discussing four books from the “courage” section of the We the People Bookshelf.
