Police searching for a missing librarian from Tyneside were last night dredging a river in Cambridge.
Daniel Bolger, 21, from Billy Mill, North Shields, was last seen at a dinner being held at Magdalene College on Sunday, November 26.
Detectives say he left his coat, containing his wallet and house keys, behind at around 2.30am, but don’t yet know whether he had deliberately walked off without the coat or forgotten about it.
