School board votes to keep book on library shelves

Fang-Face writes In Twin Bridges, Montana, the book America, by E.R. Frank, had been challenged due to inappropriate content; apparently objectionable language.
It was decided in a 4-1 vote to keep it on the shelves. The book is about a sexually abused boy, and the committee is quoted as saying, “Abuse cannot be painted with a pretty picture.” The challenge was levied by a teacher.
