Savannah’s epilogue

Bob Cox shares with us an AP Article that says ten years after publication of the gossipy Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, this coastal town still attracts a tidal wave of tourists – and their money. Before Midnight, Savannah mostly attracted Southern daytrippers who swung through to see the city’s parklike squares, marble monuments and antebellum homes. Afterward, when copies of the book became as much a travel accessory as sunscreen, tourists swarmed in from around the world.
