Savannah (GA) Librarian Is An Inspiration

This piece from Savannah Now introduces us to Alvin Lee.

Since 1990, he’s been at the Carnegie library, and although his title is librarian, he’s a teacher, tutor, historian and mentor as well. His storytelling time has become legendary. He teaches computer classes, helps with homework, proofs resumes and term papers and works to make sure every library visit is productive for every patron. He’s even taught students how to create a pieced quilt, much like his grandmother taught him.
