The hometown of Nobel Prize-winning author John Steinbeck will be restoring its library services.
The Salinas City Council yesterday approved spending ten (m) million dollars in new sales-tax money to expand library hours.
It will also use the extra money to put more police officers on the street and set up after-school recreation programs. More.
