Salinas California may try library tax again

Anonymous Patron writes Monterey County Herald Reports It appears likely that Salinas voters will get a chance to reconsider the fate of the city’s libraries with a tax measure in a November special election. “It’s been frustrating and tiring to be known as the city that’s closing its libraries,” she said. “But I think residents understand that if they want services they have to pay for them.”
