Anonymous Patron writes “First it was Bill Murray, Now It’s local fast food restaurants. Salinas residents Gary and Becky Vick, owners of the four Carl’s Jr. franchises in the city, announced Wednesday that they have launched a program to support Mayor Anna Caballero’s drive to keep the three branches of the Salinas library system open.
The Vicks will donate 50 cents to the Rally Salinas fund for each Six Dollar Burger sold through Feb. 28.”
