Anonymous Patron writes “Relic from elder Bush’s campaign is library’s bag: Neatly tucked away in Johnnie Graham’s blue cedar chest for more than 3 decades lay a canvas bag that had been needlepointed by Barbara Bush.

The blue, black and white-striped bag has an embroidered eagle on it and “Bush U.S. Senate.” Barbara Bush did the needlepoint on numerous bags as she traveled with her husband during his campaign.”
