From the Asbury Park (NJ) Press Online , a story about a recycling library that invites visitors to “Take what you would enjoy. Give what you want to share.”
Councilwoman Beth Nelson said she got the idea for the library from Bay Head, which has a library at its recycling center on Park Avenue.
In addition to recycling newspapers, cardboard, glass, plastic and other materials, Bay Head residents have been recycling their books for years.
In Mantoloking, there are fewer books on the shelves, but Nelson calls the idea a success.
