Meanwhile way out west, Arion Press in San Francisco is printing the Bible 19th century style; “It’s the Everest for printers,” says Hoyem, who has been in the printing business since 1961. It has been more than 60 years, he says, since a Bible of the type Arion is printing was produced by letterpress. “
