Gimme 20 wings and a librarian to go
As a former Buffalonian (West Senecan actually) I think this is fantastic.
I wish they had a PhD in library studies rather than communications with a concentration in LS, but that is another topic.
I wish FSU SLIS did something similar. I think all of the UB grads should more to Florida to work in the sun near the sea. That way I could go back to Buffalo and get some decent food. I miss the Broadway Market.
Re:Gimme 20 wings and a librarian to go
I miss the beef on weck more, myself.
The choices of the new graduates are interesting. Is this the norm for new librarians? Very few Special libraries and anyone interested in Children’s work, seems to be aiming at schools, not public libraries.
Gimme 20 wings (& Weber’s mustard)
Actually, this isn’t conceptually new. I remember seeing something like it, though in print, 30 years ago when I was in library school at Emory U. Even had the same title. If it seems new to a lot of folks, then it must have suspended operations at some point. A good idea, though. As yet another former Buffalonian, I miss Weber’s most of all. It’s the only thing I can’t at least approximate in my corner of the Southeast. Except for kimmelweck, of course. And Bully Hill wines. Sigh.
Re:Gimme 20 wings (& Weber’s mustard)
I order Weber’s mail order. I especially like the horseradish mustard and the dill relish!

This of course is somehow library related 🙂
