    Another way to contact your senators
    Most senators pages now have a web mail form. If you go to http://www.senate.gov/ and use the dropbox menu to “choose your state”, the results page will include a link to their web forms.

    The form is easy to use, encourages you to use your own words and a benefit from the Senator’s point of view, allows them to sort out their constituients from out of state people. They do tend to pay considerable more attention to people in state than out of state.

    I’ve used this form on many issues and consistently get replies from my delegation. A few weren’t even form letters!

    Plus, it has the added cachet of not appearing to be part of an ACLU plot.
