Anonymous Patron writes “Power to Learn – Cobb County School District: On April 13, 2005, the Cobb County Board of Education gave its approval to a plan that lays out a solid foundation for providing a better educational environment for students and narrowing the achievement gap among students of different economic backgrounds. It will start by equipping all Pre-K-12 Cobb County teachers with their own Apple iBook G4 laptop computer.
After a minimum of six months of thorough preparation for teachers, the district will establish pilot sites for a year at four Cobb County high schools where students will be issued iBooks.”
