Pieces of past library return

Anonymous Patron writes Pieces of past library return The intricate windows – two round and one arched – previously hung in the Men’s Reading Room of the old Main Library in Cincinati, 629 Vine St.. One window portrays the city seal, while the others have painted panels with words: History, Science, Art, Travel, Poetry and Drama.

Nobody is sure of what happened to the windows next – from 1955 to 1978, to be exact.

The windows eventually emerged in 1978 as décor at the Old Spaghetti Factory restaurant on Pete Rose Way.”
