Penniless Alberta author lands fantasy book deal

The National Post has A Report On Matthew Skelton, An impoverished Canadian academic who wrote a children’s book while “living out of a suitcase” is set to become a literary sensation.

Matthew Skelton’s book Endymion Spring has been bought by the world’s most respected children’s publisher for a huge sum, translated into 14 languages, and the film rights have been sold to Warner Brothers.
