Peacefire announces a new filter bypass circumvention proxy website
It will by pass most filters and if filter companies catch up to it (which they think is only selectively probable) There is an alternate plan.

    So what?
    We filter kids computers to keep them from accidently going to questionable sites or deliberately trying to find sites with questionable content. They don’t know the actual site that they want to get to so they wouldn’t know what to type in anyway.

    We don’t filter our adult stations so they can enter whatever address they want anyway. But if they go someplace inappropriate and I can see it then they are either going to close it or get out.

    What you are doing is called adult supervision.
    There is not a “work around” for that.

    What Peacefire has created is a software
    proxyy website (a filter bypass) for those who are unsupervised.

    The website to get around the filter is blocked at MPOW under the category of “proxy avoidance.” What good is that? Sheesh.

    There are several reasons why what Peacefire is doing with their proxy server will not ultimately work…I just love the fact that they keep trying.
