Patrons flock to library before storm

Neat Little Story From Massachusetts.
Hingham Public Library did a brisker-than-usual business Saturday before the blizzard hit the town.
“In anticipation of Sunday’s storm, library patrons helped generate some high numbers for library business,” said Library Director Dennis Corcoran. “Our staff handled a record-setting 3,337 checkouts and renewals from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The typical Saturday is closer to 1,800 items. The 3,337 figure represents more than the combined typical Saturday and Sunday circulations.”
