PA Libraries Suffer While Legislator Wines and Dines

Well, Grogan really doesn’t have $73,000, but he lets us know that’s how much one Pennsylvania legislator spent using state funds on dinners at gourmet restaurants – while the state legislature has proposed a 50% cut in the budget for library services. According to the cash-strapped director of the Reading Public Library, $73,000 represents the 50% that was cut from the library’s book budget this fiscal year. Read more at:
