A Short UPI Blurb says Owners of Kaavya Viswanathan’s disgraced novel, “Got Kissed, Got Wild and Got a Life,” are capitalizing on the Harvard student’s shame.
A used copy was for sale on Amazon.com for $495 Wednesday while Abebooks.com advertised a “bargain” price of $89.95 — for now, Book Standard reports on its Web site.
Publisher Little, Brown recalled all the copies of the original $21.95 hardcover books Friday after it was learned the author plagiarized a number of passages from several different books.
Prices seem to be a little more reasonable now.
