In a “Notice of Inquiry” the Copyright Office wants to hear from concerned stakeholders as to issues and concerns that exist in today’s regulatory climate and what can be done to ameliorate any problems that might exist. Different options and solutions are proposed for discussion in the notice.

Comments are due by March 25, 2005. Rebuttals to comments (specifically, those filed by the March 25 deadline) are due by May 9, 2005. Instructions on how to participate are contained in the notice itself.”
