Officials want better archival storage for Wyoming

Anonymous Patron writes “Buckets catch leaks from the ceiling, but water still seeps in occasionally through the ducts, windows and doors. Brown paper is taped over windows to keep out harmful ultraviolet rays, but pests and exhaust fumes still creep in. There’s no air conditioning, humidity is a constant problem, and space is running out.Sounds Good? State officials have been taking what they describe as a much-needed look at Wyoming’s collections storage conditions over the past few years — with an eye toward possibly constructing a new building that would combine the Wyoming State Museum collections and the Wyoming State Archives collection of records and documents.”
