Patience and Fortitude, the two lions that guard the steps of the esteemed New York Public Library, are getting “extreme makeovers” to keep them going for the next hundred or more years. Spa treatments (including covering Fortitude with an electric blanket overnight) are on-going at the Fifth Avenue entrance to the library.
