Niagara Falls Public Library Sues City for Funding

The Niagara Falls Public Library has retained an attorney to fight for funding that the Board of Trustees believes is in the city budget, but has not been given to the libraries.

The library’s attorney, Edward Perlman, declined to comment, other than to show pages in the city budget that he claims show the council appropriated $2 million to the city’s two libraries, not $1 million. Mayor Vince Anello called the legal action a slap in the face. Story from wgrz .
