New Tool Uses Web Browsers for Virtual Reference

In a library setting JYBE 2 enables collaborative virtual reference by making it possible for two or more people to communicate and share web content together in real-time from their web browsers. Using JYBE two or more users can co-browse web sites and applications together, share Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents, Blog together, make VoIP calls using SKYPE, and send join-me invitations via e-mail and instant message — all from within the browser.
