New JFK Library wing to house Edward Kennedy’s papers

Officials of the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum are planning to add a $22 million wing to the facility to house Sen. Edward Kennedy’s papers and items from other Kennedy relatives and members of JFK’s administration.

Boston.com Reports. The museum has run out of space to exhibit and store documents and artifacts, many of which are now kept off the Dorchester site. Officials hope to break ground next year on a two-story, 30,000-square-foot wing — the largest expansion in the 27-year history of the museum.
