On Friday evening, as the blazing sun released its hold on Skagit County (WA), Cathy Belbin packed her bags, her cat, Stinky, and her close friend Laural Ringler into her car.
Then, Belbin, who had been the librarian at Burlington-Edison High School for the last seven years, started driving south.
Toward Tinsel Town.
Belbin is moving to Hollywood to write for the teen-oriented television program, “Veronica Mars.”
