New bills threatening access to information

The Indy Star is reporting that the Indiana General Assembly wants to shield information from Hoosiers in the name of privacy and homeland security.

Several bills advancing in the legislature reflect the continuing tension between a person’s expectation of privacy and the public’s right to access information.
