The National Library of Iran is to transfer a collection of 2000 lithographs and 100 manuscripts purchased from Iranian collectors in the Netherlands to Iran, the Persian service of CHN reported on Monday.
The manager of the library’s manuscript section said that three Iranian collectors had collected the rare collection from Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, and Central Asia over the past 12 years and had stored the items in the Netherlands, where one of the collectors resides.
